Worldwide Stop Pressure Ulcer Day

Premiere Healthcare are proud to be supporting Worldwide Stop Pressure Ulcer Day, aimed at raising awareness of this life threatening condition that is almost entirely preventable with the right care.
Pressure ulcers, or bed sores, are estimated to cost the NHS up to £2 billion a year in care costs but the sad fact is that around 95% of all pressure ulcers are avoidable.
Premiere Healthcare actively work to support the community in the prevention of pressure ulcers by providing:

- Demonstrations on all Pressure Care products.
- A product offering which includes a full range of pressure care products such as Mattresses and Cushions, Specialist Seating, Profiling Beds, and more.
- Specialist Seating assessments from our knowedgable team who are able to assess service users to identify not only what chair would best suit their requirements, but also what level of pressure relief is required. Many of our chairs now come with built in pressure relief.
